Could you eat anything you wanted as a kid, never gaining any weight, but the years went by and the good old metabolism just decided it was time to slow down? If so, I can relate! I'm 31 years old, 50 lbs heavier, and wondering where that high school body went. I've seen numerous TV infomercials about workout programs, but "Slim in 6" and "Brazilian Butt Lift" just didn't jump out at me. I mean, I'd like to have a nice butt, but that's not my biggest trouble area. "P90X" on the other hand, now that sounded like a man's workout! So...HERE WE GO!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Brad.
I'm a 31 year old male.
I know my welcome message told you a little bit about me, but here's a little more.
I'm 6'6" and started this program at 272.8 lbs.
Being so tall with an X-Large bone structure, most people would never refer to me as fat, though they could tell that I had a few extra pounds, 98% of it showing in the face and belly.
When I got married 7 years ago, I was at what I consider my ideal weight of 240 lbs. Filled out enough that I didn't look too skinny, which I don't want. I'll shoot for that 240 lb mark.
I lost about 11 lbs last fall training for a half marathon and a 100 mile bike race, so I started this entire journey at 283 lbs. That may seem like a lot, but again, I'm tall and broad shouldered with long arms and legs. My suit size for shoulders is 55 and my pant inseam is 36. So I dindn't look like a Fatty McButterpants.
If I don't make it to that 240 lb mark, I'm ok with that, as long as I get my body fat % under 20%.
